Field Operations Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire)
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Field Operations Coordinator to support daily operational activities at our location in Irvine, CA. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling shifting priorities and high workloads. Compensation$25–$27 per hourFull-time schedulePotential for overtimeLocation: Irvine, CaliforniaEmployment Type: Contract-to-HireScheduleMonday through FridayTypical hours expected between:7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or8:00 AM – 5:00 PMKey ResponsibilitiesReview and process work order closeout packages to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.Coordinate and assign drop, maintenance, and quality control activities into dispatch queues.Manage escalations and support the resolution process for incomplete field activities.Track updates and communicate scheduling or status changes with internal teams and vendors.Complete daily 811 utility ticket submissions for completed pre-drop activities.Prepare end-of-day reports and assist with remote install activations as needed.Monitor materials and customer equipment inventory levels and coordinate ordering.Review and approve purchase order requests from contractors and vendors.Support meeting preparation, reporting, and administrative coordination.Maintain strong communication and collaboration across teams.Contribute to a culture built on trust, accountability, integrity, and teamwork.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.1–3 years of experience in telecommunications, technology, logistics, operations coordination, or a related field.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving environment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.Proven ability to manage logistical operations or high-volume daily activity.Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strong work ethic.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred).Power BI experience is a plus.Knowledge of the internet service provider (ISP) industry is preferred.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:Thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Is customer-obsessed and highly responsive.Takes initiative and follows through.Can stay organized while managing multiple priorities.Is willing to go above and beyond when needed.Enjoys being part of a collaborative and hardworking team.
