Inventory Associate

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Inventory Associate for a contract in Edwards, CA. The contract will start as 3 moths but is expected to extend.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PMPay Rate: $25-28/hour W2Location: Edwards AFB, CA 93524The Main ResponsibilitiesEmployee must possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks and turret-trucks.Receive shipments, employee must be able to unload shipments delivered by carriers.Inspecting shipments, employee must be able to visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine if it is acceptable according to a standard operating procedure.Quality control checks, employee must review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.Documenting receipts, employee must be able to use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to completely close out a receipt or work order.Packaging, employee must be able to identify what type of packaging is needed for parts, must be able to properly wrap/store parts with packaging at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.Sorting and staging, employee must be able to move packages/boxes/crates/any storage container while its identified and secure to prevent loss within the workflow.What We Look for in a Candidate2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.Communication skills within a highly technical environment.Mathematical skills.
