The Assistant Superintendent will support our Superintendents in overseeing daily on-site construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, maintaining project materials and schedules, and resolving on-site issues as they arise. This role involves frequent collaboration with team members to ensure work aligns with project plans, timelines, and customer expectations.QualificationsAssist Superintendents in the daily needs of commercial construction projects.Direct interaction and scheduling of subcontractorsPartial oversight of the project schedule - including material deliveries and inspectionsWork closely with Superintendents on RFI’s, change orders, punchlists, etc.Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policyEffective support of projects; meeting schedule milestones and deadlines while ensuring client satisfaction.Ensuring projects are executed with technical proficiency, accuracy, and professionalism.Represent Avalon Construction to clients in a professional mannerAbility to read blueprints and understand the order of tasks to achieve completion
