We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for OB Triage (in office position) to join us in our Carmel, IN location. This is a PRN position covering a leave for 3 months and then being available to cover vacations and sick days.The person hired will be responsible for ensuring all gyn patients with high quality care following current evidence based guidelines. Answering all urgent and non-urgent incoming obstetric callsRefilling prescriptions following physician protocolsReview any medical concerns and consult with provider as necessaryUnderstand general ob concerns and issuesReview general office functionality including hours of operation, after hours calls, and provider call rotation. Assist and schedule upcoming ultrasounds and appointmentsEnter necessary lab ordersMonitor hCG levelsDocument all calls and orders in EMR systemQualified candidates:have one year experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.A degree from an accredited nursing programCurrent Indiana certification as a Registered NurseCPR certification.Knowledge of CPT coding and specific lab order sets beneficialeCW knowledge beneficialPay or shift range: $29 USD to $37 USDThe estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position.
