Laboratory Technician (Miami)

We are currently seeking a Lab Assistant to support a leading clinical research organisation through specimen processing, sample handling, and administrative support. This role primarily involves laboratory sample processing for early-phase research studies and may include occasional administrational duties.This role is a part-time position and has regular shifts on Mondays or Tuesdays (9am–2pm), with potential for additional hours. Experience handling 20–40 pharmacokinetic samples per shift and working with cold storage is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and label laboratory specimens and PK/PD collection tubesMonitor specimen collections and storage conditionsMaintain clean, organised, and fully stocked lab areasPrepare lab requisitions and coordinate sample shipmentsReport abnormal findings or incidents to appropriate staffSupport participant safety and comfort during proceduresTransport collected specimens within the facilityPerform basic data entry and documentation tasksQualificationsPhlebotomy certification or at least 6 months of relevant clinical/laboratory experiencePrior experience working with cold storage.Clinical research experience preferred but not requiredKnowledge of medical terminology and clinical research guidelines (GCP/ICH) preferredStrong communication and organisational skillsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
