For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.Job SummaryThe Program Manager – Drive System Solutions is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional programs that support the development, launch, and delivery of drive system solutions.This role works closely with the Drive System Solutions Product Manager and Systems Engineering team to ensure alignment between product strategy, solution development, and execution.Core Objective: Drive program execution excellence by aligning cross-functional teams to deliver integrated drive system solutions that meet customer needs, business objectives, and time-to-market targets.Core Objective: Drive global product strategy and portfolio execution while accelerating market adoption and lifecycle value of the Drive System Solutions product line.ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & ExecutionDefine program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with product strategy and customer requirementsDevelop and manage detailed program plans, including milestones, dependencies, and resource requirementsEnsure on-time and high-quality execution of product and solution development initiativesIdentify risks, manage mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues impacting program deliveryCross-Functional CoordinationServe as the central coordination point between Product Management, Systems Engineering, Sales, Operations, and EngineeringEnsure alignment across teams on program priorities, deliverables, and timelinesFacilitate regular program reviews and communication to stakeholdersDrive accountability across functions to ensure successful executionSupport to Product ManagementPartner with the Drive System Solutions Product Manager to translate product strategy and roadmap into executable programsSupport product development initiatives from concept through launchEnsure alignment between product requirements, program plans, and execution activitiesTrack program performance relative to business objectives (growth, margin, adoption)Support to Systems Engineering TeamCollaborate closely with Systems Engineering to ensure solution development activities are aligned with program timelines and deliverablesEnable efficient execution of system-level design, validation, and integration activitiesHelp prioritize engineering efforts based on business impact and customer needsEnsure technical deliverables are completed and integrated into overall program executionProduct Launch ManagementCoordinate product launches, ensuring readiness across engineering, operations, sales, and support functionsEnsure effective communication and alignment during product introductions and transitionsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required5+ years of experience in program management or related roles in automation or industrial systemsExperience working with integrated systems, motion control, drives, and automation technologies preferredProven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs in global environmentsStrong leadership and coordination skills without direct authorityExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong analytical, problem solving and organization skillsCustomer-focused mindset with experience supporting application-driven product developmentFamiliarity with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., stage-gate, Agile, or hybrid approaches) preferredEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
