Please submit an application right away if you want to begin a career in sales!Base guaranteed + upside earnings (paid whichever is higher every pay period) with higher earning potential as you build your pipeline!Strong first-year earning potential: $60,000 – $85,000+Paid training & ongoing mentorshipVariety in your day: office, showroom, and customer interactionRelationship-driven sales (not just cold calling)Compensation:$60,000 - $85,000 yearly Responsibilities:Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing individuals, and chatting with them at eventsAppear at in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales eventsWork with sales management to reach goals and improve the sales processStrategize how to use social media like Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media outletsIdentify and create high-value business opportunities for our sales team to pursue and closeBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat businessProactively generate leads, follow up consistently, and develop commercial and residential accountsManage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through project completionPrepare accurate estimates using measurements, take-offs, and project detailsMaintain regular follow-up with prospects and current customers to identify opportunities and ensure satisfactionAddress and resolve customer issues promptly and professionallyStay informed on products, market trends, and competitive activityParticipate in networking and professional events to grow business relationshipsTrack and document all sales activities, communications, and customer interactionsUtilize company systems and meet performance metrics and KPIs Qualifications:You are an organized, detail oriented self-starter who loves contributing your team's goalsUnderstanding the sales process and how to enter information into client databases desiredStellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skillsStrong customer service experience is necessary for this positionHigh school diploma or GED is required, bachelor's degree preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approachAbility to build relationships and solve problems in a consultative sales environmentSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingBasic math skills for measurements and estimating (square footage, etc.)Comfortable using computers and standard business software (Microsoft Office preferred)Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAdaptable with a strong sense of initiativeRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver's license and ability to travel locally to customer locationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform both office and on-site work About CompanyJoin a team where your work matters and your contributions are recognized.At Carpet City Flooring Center, Wisconsin's largest family-owned flooring center, we've built our reputation on strong relationships, quality service, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
