Level 2 IT Support Engineer

Level 2 It Support EngineerWe are seeking a Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team supporting a variety of business environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting, solving complex issues, and providing exceptional user support. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 technical support across desktop, server, cloud, and endpoint environmentsTroubleshoot Windows PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business applicationsSupport Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID/Azure ADManage user accounts, permissions, MFA, onboarding/offboarding, and password resetsDiagnose and resolve networking issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless connectivity, and firewallsResolve support tickets independently and escalate issues when necessaryDocument technical issues, resolutions, procedures, and support activitiesAssist with endpoint security, patching, backups, and system monitoringCollaborate with senior engineers and project teams on escalated issues and improvementsIdentify recurring issues and recommend process or technical improvementsQualifications2+ years of hands-on IT support experienceExperience in Level 2 support or advanced desktop support environmentsStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systemsExperience with Active Directory and/or Entra ID (Azure AD)Troubleshooting experience with desktops, email, VPNs, printers, and network connectivityStrong customer service, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentReliable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindsetPreferred SkillsExperience with Intune, AutoPilot, MFA, and endpoint management toolsFamiliarity with networking equipment, wireless access points, VPNs, and firewallsExposure to endpoint security, backup, and recovery solutionsExperience using remote monitoring and ticketing systemsIndustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certificationsTechnical EnvironmentMicrosoft 365 / Exchange OnlineEntra ID / Azure AD / Active DirectoryWindows 10/11 and Windows ServerIntune and endpoint managementDNS, DHCP, VPN, and networkingEndpoint security and backup solutionsRemote support and ticketing platforms
