These principals are more than words on a page – they shape how we serve, collaborate, and grow together.The Challenge (Job Summary)Under the supervision of the VP of IT Infrastructure, this position supports the company’s systems and platform operators and serves as an escalation contact for IT Tier 1 support. The Systems Analyst I assists in evaluating, recommending, implementing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining general and industry-specific platforms in our dozens of distributed offices and locations. Example systems include Windows Active Directory, VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, Change Healthcare Change PACS, Imprivata identity verification, Veeam backup management, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and related monitoring and management systems. The Systems Analyst I also assists the VP of IT Infrastructure in developing security-centric platform use policies for our user community and assists with detecting and responding to use policy violations. The Systems Analyst I may participate in authoring user-focused tutorials and educational materials, and may occasionally be called upon to lead user training applicable to the products and services they operate.Key Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsDesign and deploy technically sound user and software management platforms and policies based on industry’s best practices.Audit existing and future systems for best practices compliance.Self-start remedial projects anywhere where gaps in system, configuration, or user policies are identified.Consult with Director of Information Security and Systems Administrator(s) to ensure that their solutions comply with policies and best practices, and that those solutions integrate with availability and performance monitoring practices under the Systems Administrator’s control.Consult with Director of Information Security for strategies on detecting possible breaches in software and user management platforms.Urgently respond to any suspected interruptions to NOMS’s software platforms and user management availability.Assist Systems Administrator(s) in authoring and maintaining comprehensive system documentation, including topology diagrams, Active Directory Group Policy distribution, Intune deployment configurations, system inventories, and project lists.Execute technical changes in alignment with NOMS Healthcare’s technical management policies.Available as technical escalation for Tier 1 support team. Typical escalations are related to identity and access management, system function audits, and troubleshooting cloud telephonyKnowledge of data capture and analysis, systems and platform design, problem identification including but not limited to medical data processing.Proficiency of server and computer hardware, software, data networks, voice and data communications including compatibility and system configuration.Familiar with programming languages and scripting techniques. Experience scripting platform configuration and issue correction, such as with PowerShell, bash, Python, or similar is a plus.Skilled in functioning as script developer to automate repetitive tasks at scale, design consistent solutions to recurring standard work need, and perform audits and investigations across large sets of users and devicesAbility to be oriented to end-user support needs across multiple sites.What You Need To SucceedBA/BS in Information Systems, Business or technical field preferred.Minimum of two (2) years progressively responsible experience in information systems. Health care setting preferred.Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft PowerShell, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Microsoft Azure (or equivalent cloud platform) administration required.Electronic Medical Record experience, Epic preferred.
