Candidate must have the ability to read and/or compare job files, bills of materials or other necessary documentation to board assemblies.
Demonstrated ability to perform IPC Class 2-level Soldering of both SMT and through-hole components.
Assist with rework, hand soldering and advanced troubleshooting.
Maintain necessary logs and records.
Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Regular attendance by the employee is required to meet production goals and customer commitment.
Perform general housekeeping duties to provide a safe working environment at all times.
Visual Inspection of completed pcb. Make necessary repairs based on workmanship standards.
Solid understanding of IPC Class 2 and J-STD requirements
Good English verbal communication skills.
Able to read and comprehend work instructions written in English.
Ability to sit/stand up to eight (8) hours per day
Good hand/eye coordination
Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch. Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience with the placement and soldering of through hole, and surface mount components, both with and without use of microscope.
