Job PostingJob DescriptionSecured facility - Medium facility with male inmatesLevel 2 Mental Health facilityNo cell phones or electronic devices allowed in facilityRequesting full time but may consider part timeMust have one year medical/surgical experience, BLS certified and have a current NYS licenseHours, shifts, days off will vary based on facility needs - primary need is 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7amER experience recommendedPositions available ASAPBest value justification - combination of price and qualifications Will result in multiple awards to multiple vendorsJob duties - (including but not limited to)Diagnose and treat a patient's health problemsPerform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possible undiagnosed conditions or complicationsAdminister medicationAttend to sick call, emergency sick call, inmate and employee accidentsManage and deliver restorative or palliative care to the ill, disabled or dyingTeach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complicationsContribute as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team and as a consultant on health-related committees to plan and implement the health care needs of consumersExecute medical regimens as prescribed by licensed physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and podiatrists
