Accounting Manager

Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and motivated Finance and Accounting Manager to join our team. This vital role will lead our accounting team in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, adherence to regulations, and efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities and an extensive knowledge of all organizational accounting functions. This position will report to the Global Finance Director. If you thrive on challenges, excel in financial strategy, and are eager to contribute to our organization's success, we want to hear from you!Job Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis - responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements; ensures compliance with accounting principles and provides accurate financial information for decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting – assists in the development, preparation, and consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts; participates in the budgeting process by analyzing financial data, monitoring expenses, and providing insights for budget development. Managing Accounting Operations – leads and manages staff of 4 to provide accurate, timely data; manages all aspects of the accounting/finance department and its various functions; responsible for providing guidance, training, hiring, terminations, performance reviews and staff development. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams – works closely with departments across the organization by providing financial insights to support decision-making and collaborates on projects and initiatives. Financial Systems – administers all financial systems including JD Edwards ERP system, Concur Expense Reporting, Avalara Tax Compliance, Blackline, One Stream, various bank websites, and Corporate credit card website; responsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts having ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions. Sox Compliance – plans, implements, coordinates and executes all phases of SOX compliance to include leading walkthroughs and identifying/validating key controls, reporting control deficiencies and remediation plans, and reporting results to Management.
