Senior Accountant - Hybrid Work Model

Key Responsibilities Own and drive the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain general ledger and perform account reconciliations Prepare and support monthly and annual financial reporting Maintain weekly cash forecasts and assist with cash management activities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reporting packages Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and business insights Support external audits and collaborate with auditors and tax advisors Maintain fixed asset records and debt schedules Assist with documenting and improving accounting processes and procedures Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes as needed Qualifications ~5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (flexible for the right candidate) Strong general ledger and account reconciliation experience Experience owning or heavily supporting month-end close Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP Exposure to financial reporting and/or cash forecasting Ability to operate independently in a hands-on, fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability Nice to Have: Experience in transportation, logistics, or similar industries ERP experience such as AS400, McLeod, or TMW Background working in a small or lean team environment The Company This organization is a well-established, employee-owned company with a strong reputation for operational excellence and long-term stability.
