Facilities Maintenance Technician
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Are you someone who takes initiative to fix and maintain everything around you? If so, you could be the person were looking for! The Facilities Maintenance Technician is the main character behind the scenes of our live entertainment operations. This individual will handle all aspects of facilities and maintenance of our theater facilities.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
Maintenance and repair of the corporate office, warehouse, and theaters to include fixtures, equipment, vehicles, and more
Install or repair electrical fixtures
Install or repair plumbing fixtures
Maintain and repair the HVAC systems
Assist with the overall maintenance of company vehicles
Preparation and painting and/or repainting any facility or location as needed
Load and unload items as needed
Drive company vehicle and items to and from the theaters and the corporate office/warehouse
Assemble equipment for use in company operations
Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment
Ensure all signs and banners, etc. are hung inside and around the theater
Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as needed
Process inventory as needed
Conduct safety checks and implement best safety and compliance practices and procedures
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:
Extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair work
Broad understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work
Skilled in construction and carpentry
Ability to maintain and repair vehicles
Knowledge of refrigeration maintenance
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
Ability to work and collaborate well with others
Knowledge and understanding of various carpentry and power tools
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of job-related experience required
Proven experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work
Proven experience in basic construction and carpentry work
Must possess a valid Nevada drivers license and the ability to produce a clean DMV record
Must possess a valid OSHA 10 or 30
Forklift certification is desirable
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:
Work environment: Warehouse, theater, and office, indoor and outdoor
Must be able to remain in a standing/walking position for up to 8 hours a day
May be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands
Ability to bend, push, pull, move forward, move backward, move sideways, and climb ladders and stairs
Moderate lifting may be required, up to 100 pounds
