Counter Shift Leads WantedHi-Rise Bread Co. is hiring Counter Shift Leads! Counter Shift Leads ensure the effective operation of the customer-facing functions of the business by working on all day-to-day aspects of the counter while leading opening and/or closing shifts. They work 4-5 shifts per week (28-40 hours) while excelling in all areas of job performance. They are proficient baristas and are able to work shifts at farmers markets (May-November). Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:SHIFT LEADLead Counter Staff and Counter Support Staff so as to ensure the effective performance of all operational areas quality standards, customer service, product knowledge, workflow procedures, etc.Lead the execution of daily tasks, including setup and breakdown of product displays, outdoor dining equipment, cleaning, restocking, and side workOrder intake and inventory management as needed, including incoming deliveries (milk, coffee, etc,) and internal products (frozen foods, refrigerator organization, etc.)Able to help customers who have complaints and would like to speak to someone in a leadership positionAttend leadership meetingsCUSTOMER INTERFACE + ORDER MANAGEMENTExhibit exemplary customer service in person and over the phone from order placement through pickupFluency with our menus and point-of-sale system to allow for smooth and efficient transactionsKnowledge across all product categories to sufficiently answer customer questions, supported by a thoughtful personal experience with productsAbility to work as a shift's primary baristaFARMERS' MARKETS (May-November)Ability to perform all aspects of a farmers' market shift, including market packing and preparation, market setup, customer interface, order processing, and market breakdownExperience in a front-of-house role at a caf or restaurant is required, ideally with barista experience and in a supervisory capacity.
