DIRECTOR or VP OF ANALYTICS

We are a full-service advertising agency located in Los Angeles and New York that specializes in strategic planning, marketing, media planning and buying, brand building, creative development, production and multicultural advertising across a wide range of blue-chip to entrepreneurial clients. The agency combines the disciplines of performance advertising with branding to create effective and accountable campaigns that enhance our clients' return on investment (ROI). We do this for both creative and media clients. Our practice spans television, digital, print, out-of-home, radio, collateral, direct mail, mobile advertising, SEM and web design.This role is responsible for creating and managing the Analytics program and product offerings, and for representing the agency’s analytics capabilities to clients and other stakeholders, and will directly manage a staff of five.ResponsibilitiesANALYTICS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENTContribute to innovation and help to establish the agency in the marketplace across a range of client needs, from ongoing fundamental analytics to MMM/MTAHelp manage and fine-tune our go-to-market Analytics solutions for our day-to-day clientsRepresent the agency at new client pitches and support business development activities, including both supervision of and direct contribution to proposal decksProvide analytics support and insights to departments as neededDesign, develop and manage a suite of analytics products, services and technology offerings for our media types (TV, Radio, Print, Digital, etc.)Develop a data-management solution for the agency and for clientsTECHNOLOGY / BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATIONDevelop data and technology strategies for capturing and processing data and transforming it into actionable analytical products and solutionsArchitect, build and administer a data warehouse of cross-platform media and response data, databases and data-driven technologies as needed to support client engagementsDevelop and administer DRTV attribution software for attributing Web responses to TV airingsMaintain the Business Intelligence architecture, including dashboards to support in-house reporting/analysis and client-facing dashboardsConsult with media team on automation platforms and toolsManage analytics vendors and outsource resources as neededREPORTING AND ANALYSISDeliver ongoing custom and ad-hoc reporting and analysis across all media campaignsRespond to client needs for analytics solutions and design; develop and implement those solutionsProvide interpretation and analysis of results that strategically inform/direct agency account and media teams, leading to the optimization of client investmentBuild and manage a team of analytics professionals to provide analytics for client engagements and to build out and support the agency’s analytics capabilitiesREQUIREMENTS7-10+ years of experience in a leadership role managing analytics programsDegree in Statistics, Business, Business Intelligence, Social Science, Economics or related fieldStrong experience building and leading analytics programsStrong communication and client-facing skillsExperience with a broad range of models and analytical and statistical solutions, as well as the ability to apply them to a variety of marketing categories and business needsExperience with multi-channel, fractional attribution models, DSP/DMP integrations and PMMLExperience with R, Python, SQLKnowledge and experience setting up and administering databases like MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka or similarStrong leadership and hands-on analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong experience architecting and managing Business Intelligence solutions applied to marketingStrong experience architecting, building and managing databases and data-driven technologiesWorks well in collaborative team environments and matrix-reporting structuresTitle and salary commensurate with experienceAgency experience preferred
