Executive Chef

Responsibilities:Provide leadership, development, support and motivation to Leaders, creating a positive environment that encourages ownership and accountability; attracts and retains a diverse talent pool while meeting or exceeding business results! Build and develop unique food offerings that provide our Guest with a variety of selections. Set trends and innovate unique culinary experiences for style of cuisine. Role model exceptional culinary skills and cuisine savvy!DutiesWe develop and create innovative menus in alignment with the restaurant’s style and conceptWe design and implement a wide range of menu offerings for various dining areas and special eventsCoordinate the production process, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation of all itemsMonitor monthly inventory, par levels, spoilage, and support environmental effortsPossess keen eye for businessWe champion change with creative thinking and vision to drive business resultsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold sanitation standardsCultivate an environment where Cast feel included, trusted, empowered, and recognizedEstablish strong relationships among Cast, leaders, peers, and direct reportsSupport and drive location menu developmentEnsure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and facilitiesEducate Cast on seasonal products, culinary styles and techniques, industry trends, and special dietary needsRequired QualificationsMinimum of ten years of culinary management experience managing a teamAbility to work and lead effectively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to educate and demonstrate advanced fundamentals of cookingFlexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Desired QualificationsExperience leading in a unionized environmentFood Safety CertificationCulinary degree or relevant certification from a culinary institute is preferredThe hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $132,600 to $177,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
