Our client, a top personal lines carrier, is seeking a Yacht / High Net Worth Underwriting Lead to build and scale its marine offering within a growing platform. This individual will oversee key MGA and distribution relationships, ensuring strong underwriting performance, disciplined portfolio management, and alignment with broader product strategy, while also driving cross-sell opportunities across high-net-worth lines (home, auto, etc.) to avoid a monoline approach.The role will be highly market-facing, working closely with retailers and other capacity partners to expand distribution, improve engagement, and reposition the brand within the marine space, including both ocean and inland exposures. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a strong yacht portfolio, enhancing underwriting governance, and expanding into new segments such as inland marine and higher-limit risks.Candidates must have at least 8+ years of experience in ocean marine or personal lines underwriting, binding authority, or brokerage to be considered, and must be willing to relocate or be based out of one of the carrier's Florida offices (relocation assistance available).
