SAP WMS Consultant

Role: SAP WMS ConsultantEnd Client: Major Pharma CompanyLocation: MemphisRate: OpenDuration: End of year +We are looking for someone who is both technical and functional, with strong business-facing capabilities. Requirements for the candidate would have experience in WMS implementations (MARC, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc):Business process ownership: Partner with warehouse and logistics leaders to understand current state processes and pain points; translate requirements into future‑state process flows for receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking (wave/batch/zone), packing, shipping, cycle counting, and returns.WMS configuration & solution design: Configure WMS parameters, rules, and workflows (e.g., allocation, task interleaving, slotting, cartonization, labeling) to meet service levels and compliance requirements; maintain configuration governance and change control.Integrations & interface management: Design, support, and troubleshoot integrations between WMS and ERP/OMS/TMS, transportation carriers, EDI partners, and warehouse automation (WCS, conveyors, sorters, voice, RFID). Validate message flows, acknowledgements, and exception handling across middleware/APIs/flat files.Production support & root‑cause analysis: Serve as L3 SME for complex incidents impacting warehouse execution; perform root‑cause analysis across application, database, and integration layers; implement corrective and preventive actions and communicate status to stakeholders.Data, reporting & analytics: Create and optimize SQL queries, extracts, and reconciliation routines to ensure inventory accuracy and transaction integrity; develop operational dashboards/KPIs (inventory accuracy, dock‑to‑stock, order cycle time, pick productivity, backlog, SLA adherence) using approved reporting tools.
