Immediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention OfficerLocation: Retail Store Champaign, ILIf you have any questions email LPOperations@1stclasssecurity.comJob Description:Identify shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed-Circuit TVReport writingInteracting with local law enforcement agencies as neededProvide court room testimony as requiredAbility to read, write and speak English proficiently.Full-time/ 40 hours per week$22.00 per hourHealth Insurance/401k/Paid Time OffJob Requirement:Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screenAbility to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a timeReliable transportationAbility to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written meansAbility to write legible, accurate and easily understood reportsMust be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontationMust be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervisionAttendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism are not tolerated.Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirementHigh school diploma or equivalent (minimum)Criminal Justice or related studies a plusMust be able to obtain state required PERC prior to employment.This is an immediate opening.
