Senior Research Specialist

Senior Research Specialist, who will lead the research and evaluation function on a full-time basis, supporting a state education agency by developing evaluation plans and producing reports that inform instructional material decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and revise multi-year and cycle-level research and evaluation plans in partnership with the client Maintain a comprehensive data inventory and build multi-audience dashboards for various stakeholders Lead the production of cycle-level evaluation reports and provide guidance on research design and analytic approaches Required Qualifications Master's degree in Education Research, Educational Psychology, Statistics, Public Policy, or a closely related field; Doctorate preferred At least five years of experience in applied education research or program evaluation Proficiency in mixed-methods research and statistical software such as R, SPSS, or Stata Experience designing surveys with complex logic and building multi-audience dashboards Strong understanding of research ethics and responsible data management practices
