This role must involve strategic planning, team management, partnership development, and performance monitoring to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. As a driver of the sales team, you will be focused on profitable growth of Distribution. This role demands a blend of strategic vision, leadership excellence, and a deep understanding of the distribution landscape. We are looking to promote or hire a Regional Director of Sales - Distribution that shares our ambition to achieve our four Key Outcomes: Employer, Brand, Investment, and Neighbor of Choice.With our continued growth, we are searching for a motivated individual who is aligned with our culture and has the essential skills and experience described below to take on this career opportunity.RequirementsEssentials and Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for distribution channels to achieve sales targets and expand Systemair’s customer base.Lead and motivate the distribution sales team to achieve sales objectives, including setting individual sales targets and performance metrics.Establish and manage relationships with key partners, distributors, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Systemair’s business objectives and strategies.Represent the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases, and seminars to create awareness about organization products and generate potential leads.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, demands, and competitive landscapes, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction.Negotiate and close agreements with large customers and ensure all partners adhere to contract terms and conditions.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, generating detailed reports on sales results, forecasts, and market insights for management.Manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.Develop and nurture relationships with various key strategic individuals like local leaders, key industry players, and strategic distributors or partners.Identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards across all distribution channels.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.KPIs for Commission Opportunity Total Net Sales at Budget Gross Margin at Budget Selling Expenses below Budget Skills, Education, And/or ExperienceThe following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the Regional Director of Sales – Distribution Profile or candidates for the position:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Proven experience in a senior sales role, with a strong track record in HVAC distribution sales management.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.Extensive knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.Strong influential, persuasion, and statistical analysis skills.Working knowledge of Sales Force or other CSM.Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity. Job Conditions Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and looking at a computer. Light physical effort – able to lift up to 20lbs at times.Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods. Must be able to travel a minimum or 25% to meet to meet regional needs.
