*10+ years’ experience working on relational database platform with emphasis on VLDBs.*
*• On-call deployment and troubleshooting experience*
*• Experience with database design principles, including normalization and aggregation, for both on-line and data warehouse schemas to support the needs of application developers.*

• Database Backups/Restores Technologies
• Implementing New Database servers in a Virtual Environment
• Database Design Skills including Normalization and Data Warehouse design
• Strong TSQL skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Structured Troubleshooting Skills
• SQL Query Performance Tuning experience
• Log Shipping, Mirroring and Always-on technologies
• Replication
• Experience with Foglight and other 3rd party Monitoring Tools
• Experience in the healthcare industry, a plus
• Analyze, solve, and correct database issues in real time.
• Provide suggestions for solutions.
• Refine and automate regular processes.
• Track issues and document changes.
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
• Minimize database downtime.
• Implement high-speed transaction recovery techniques
• Provide 24x7 on call rotation support for critical production systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
