The Division Chief will oversee clinical, educational, and research activities, provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients with neuromuscular, congenital, and traumatic conditions, and lead a multidisciplinary team.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership Provide expert clinical care to pediatric patients with physical disabilities, neuromuscular disorders, congenital conditions, and injuries.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating medical interventions, therapies, and rehabilitation techniques.Collaborate with pediatricians, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and therapists for multidisciplinary care.Administrative and Leadership Lead the division's daily operations, resource allocation, growth, and quality improvement initiatives.Recruit, hire, and mentor physicians, therapists, nurses, and support staff.Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.Education and Training Develop and implement training programs for medical students, residents, and fellows in Pediatric PM & R.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the division.Research and Innovation Engage in clinical research, publish findings, and present at conferences to advance Pediatric PM & R.Collaborate with research teams to identify opportunities for improving treatment outcomes and developing innovative therapies.Collaboration and Networking Collaborate with other departments, healthcare institutions, and community organizations to enhance patient care and referral pathways.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support division goals.Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Establish and monitor quality metrics to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to improve patient outcomes and safety.QualificationsMedical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, preferably sub-specialized in Pediatric PM & R.Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.Proven clinical expertise in Pediatric PM & R with a strong record of patient care and outcomes.Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Strong commitment to education, research, and advancement of the field.J-18808-Ljbffr
