Registered DietitianJoin our team at Roosevelt Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Registered Dietitian.Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting ServicesFull-time opportunity available$30-$40 an hour (all inclusive)Responsibilities as a Registered Dietitian:Assist the food services staff in developing and using departmental procedures governing food service activities, equipment, supplies, and related areas.Review and develop a plan of correction for any food service deficiencies noted during state/federal survey, and provide a written copy of such plan to the Administrator for approvalMaintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services DepartmentReview dietary requirements and/or restrictions of admitted patients in accordance with the attending physician's diet plansAssist the Discharge Planning Coordinator in planning the food services portion of the resident's discharge planAssist in developing diet plans for individual residents and planning regular and specialized diets as prescribed by the attending physicianQualifications for Registered Dietitian:Bachelor's degree required.An active current registered Dietitian is required.2 years of clinical experience preferred.Expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably geriatric rehab care practices in a skilled nursing setting.Possess knowledge of all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory statutes and guidelines pertaining to healthcare in the skilled nursing setting.Benefits of a Registered Dietitian:Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Roosevelt Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 240-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
