Role Description We’re looking for a hardworking, creative, and reliable team member to join our growing team at Hertel Home Consignment. This position combines showroom staging, furniture movement, sales, and consignment intake across both of our store locations.This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys interior spaces, hands-on work, and creating beautiful showroom displays.Schedule Part-time 3-4 days a week. •Tuesday and Wednesday availability required. •Work will take place at both store locationsResponsibilitiesMove, prep, and stage furniture throughout the showroomClean, polish, and merchandise furniture and decorCreate visually appealing showroom displaysAssist customers with sales in-storeHelp process and take in consignmentsWork safely on ladders when neededLoad, unload, and rearrange furniture regularlyRequirementsMust be 18+Valid driver’s license requiredAbility to lift 50–75 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)Comfortable with physical labor and being on your feet throughout the dayStrong work ethic and ability to multitaskInterest in furniture, interiors, design, or home stylingPrior experience in staging, retail sales, furniture handling, visual merchandising, or interior-related work preferredIdeal CandidateYou’re someone who:Has an eye for styling and interior spacesEnjoys hands-on, active workWorks well independently and with a teamIs friendly, organized, and customer-focusedThrives in a constantly changing retail environment
