Metrologists are responsible for providing technical solutions and an advanced level of instrument support services to customers of TFS, including external clients, laboratory chemists within the Pace lab system, and departmental coworkers. They also provide our customers with a variety of support services associated with their analytical instrumentation. These services include routine maintenance, operational and performance testing, hardware and software troubleshooting, instrument repair, and personnel training.Compensation: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per yearWhat You’ll DoOn-site calibration, maintenance, and qualification of customer equipmentOn-site environmental mapping and qualification servicesIn-house calibration and maintenance of internal calibration masters and customer equipmentDevelop and maintain positive relationships with customersDevelop equipment validations, qualifications, calibration methods, and standard operating proceduresOperate in a ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and cGMP environmentMaintain/repair general lab equipmentTravel up to 30%What You’ll BringStrong Attention to DetailTwo year technical degree or relevant experience requiredBachelor’s degree preferredExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsStrong mathematical skills including knowledge of calculating uncertainty, significant figures and unit conversionStrong MS Word and MS Excel skillsValid driver’s licenseFind Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.BenefitsWhen you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
