Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer (TWIC Required) Location: Freeport, TX (near Quintana, TX)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead capital and expense projects from concept through commissioning. This role involves developing electrical scopes, managing design and execution, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop project scopes, design criteria, and engineering deliverables (SLDs, specs, datasheets)Manage Management of Change (MOC) processReview electrical designs (SLDs, schematics, cable routing, vendor drawings)Perform/review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash)Support equipment selection (transformers, switchgear, MCCs, motors, VFDs)Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and internal teamsOversee construction, installation, and commissioning activitiesEnsure compliance with NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and NFPA standardsSupport HAZOPs, troubleshooting, and project documentationRequirements:Strong experience in medium/high voltage power systemsKnowledge of protective relaying (SEL preferred)Experience in industrial/project environments (oil & gas, chemical, etc. preferred)Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsValid TWIC card required
