Job DescriptionAs a Supervisory Customer Experience Supervisor in Firearms/Sporting Goods, you are responsible for leading a team of associates and ensuring an exceptional guest experience in the Firearms/Sporting Goods departments. You will support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure an extraordinary shopping experience for our customers. You'll know which products will meet customer's needs and stay up to date on product knowledge. You will organize and maintain firearms in all locations within the store to include the Firearms Counter and Firearms Vault. You will ensure that 4473 forms are completed thoroughly and accurately as well receive incoming firearms using logbooks and electronic systems. Retail experience. Demonstrated willingness and potential for additional responsibility.If a sufficient number of qualified candidates do not apply, the minimum qualifications may be lowered without reposting.Major DutiesEnsures a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Greets each customer upon contact and keeps their needs foremost and creates a welcoming environment.Leads associates utilizing effective communications skills. Trains and mentors associates to ensure they are well-equipped to provide an exceptional shopping experience.Assists in arranging space on sales floor, setting up promotional fixtures, displaying promotional merchandise, and signing.Demonstrates specialty product knowledge and skills to assist and engage by making recommendations to promote multiple sales. Ensures associates demonstrate behaviors to drive customer loyalty and actively communicates the benefits of the Military Star credit card to customers to drive sales growth.Maintains program compliance with regards to safety/security/service procedures in all aspects of recordkeeping, inventory, storage/display, and sales.Maintains employee communication folders to include communication record, time and attendance record, and job description. Communicates the performance standards and provides feedback.May operate a cash register or other sales related equipment to enter new accounts, sales related equipment, sales transactions, refunds, or other related transactions.
