Summary A commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to run field operations on ground-up and commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who can lead fast-paced jobs, coordinate multiple trades, maintain safety, and deliver quality work from start to finish. The position requires strong field leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage large teams on active construction sites.Key Responsibilities • Report to the General Superintendent and manage all field activities for assigned projectsOversee subcontractors, field foremen, installers, and labor crewsShare leadership responsibilities with the Project Manager, including mentoring Project EngineersSchedule and coordinate field personnel across multiple trades (25 to 100+ depending on project size)Verify scope, means, and methods for all phases of constructionEnsure all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are in place and completedMaintain efficient jobsite workflow, logistics, and daily planningEnforce jobsite safety, conduct safety walks, and document safety compliancePerform ongoing quality control and quality assurance checksLead site meetings and coordinate with ownership, architects, and consultantsMaintain daily reports, field documentation, and progress tracking in Procore or similar systemsQualifications • Minimum 7 years of experience managing ground-up, commercial TI, retail, creative office, or multifamily constructionStrong technical knowledge of building systems, sequencing, and field coordinationAbility to manage large trade crews and multiple subcontractorsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage day-to-day field operationsExperience mentoring project engineers and field staffBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredExperience with BIM, SureTrak, and Procore preferredCompensation + Benefits • Competitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonusesMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with employer matchCompany vehicle or allowanceFuel card, phone, and laptopPaid holidays, PTO, and sick timeLong-term career growth with continuous project opportunities
