AWS Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer / Lead Atlanta, GA // Charlotte, NC Jersey City, NJLong term Contract Key ResponsibilitiesExecute short-term manual data and document extraction activities to support ongoing GDMS operations during the transition to automated bulk-extraction capabilities.Design, develop, and implement scalable bulk-extraction automation using AWS services and architecture patterns aligned with GDMS standards.Develop AWS Lambda/Node.js and ECS/Fargate processing components for data extraction, transformation, validation, and document processing across supported GDMS schemas.Design and implement AWS Step Functions workflows for Claims, Underwriting, and Ad-hoc extraction processes, including orchestration of OpenSearch/DynamoDB queries, processing activities, and downstream actions.Develop and enhance Angular-based UI features deployed on ECS/Fargate for administrative and request-management interfaces, including criteria entry, CSV upload, request-status tracking, and extraction-result access.Design and implement DynamoDB data models and lifecycle patterns for tracking extraction requests, criteria sets, execution metadata, audit information, and bulk upload/delete operations.Define and implement Amazon S3 storage structures, naming conventions, and folder-level access controls for extracted documents and metadata files in accordance with GDMS requirements.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, Fargate/ECS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, SES, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and OpenSearch.Strong development experience with Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.Experience building REST APIs, serverless applications, and event-driven architectures.Experience designing workflow orchestration using AWS Step Functions.Strong understanding of NoSQL data modeling, particularly DynamoDB.Experience with document/data extraction, transformation, validation, and file-processing workflows.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with enterprise data platforms, claims, underwriting, or insurance-domain systems.Experience modernizing manual operational processes through cloud automation.Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, AWS monitoring, logging, and observability practices.Experience designing highly scalable and fault-tolerant AWS solutions.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
