Senior Cost Accountant – Multi-Site Manufacturing (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a growing, acquisition-minded manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Cost Accountant supporting multiple production facilities across U.S. locations.This is a high-visibility, hands-on role reporting to the Controller, with responsibility for cost accounting activities across several manufacturing sites.Location OptionsThis role can be based out of any of the following locations:WisconsinMissouriIllinoisHybrid schedule: ~2 days in officeLight travel (~10%) across sitesRole OverviewThe Senior Cost Accountant will serve as the primary accounting partner supporting manufacturing operations across all sites, ensuring accurate cost tracking, inventory accounting, and financial reporting within a growing, multi-entity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee cost accounting activities across several manufacturing locationsSupport standard cost development, variance analysis, and reportingMaintain and analyze inventory accounting and valuationPartner with operations to improve cost visibility and efficiencySupport month-end close and financial reporting processesWork within ERP systemsAssist with process improvements and system enhancements across sitesWhat We’re Looking For4+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accountingManufacturing industry experience strongly preferredExperience with multi-site or multi-entity environments a plusERP experienceStrong Excel and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and partner with operationsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilityWhy This RoleExposure to several manufacturing sites with broad responsibilityHigh visibility to leadership and ControllerStable, growing organization with both organic growth and acquisitionsStrong work-life balance and flexible hybrid structureClear growth potential toward Assistant Controller or Director-level roles
