Lodge Front Desk Day Position $13 - $14

Department: Silver Mountain LodgeJob Title: Day shiftWorkdays/Hours: 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 12pm-8pm. Weekends and holidays required.Classification: Hourly, non-exempt Job Description:Responsible for Internal/External phone calls and guest serviceEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Check guests in and out of rooms and help with any issues they may haveGet packages ready for check inAnswer internal/External calls from guests needing supplies or wanting to make a reservation.Restock supplies at the front desk, lobby and gift shop, notify manager of supplies needed.Resolve problems arising from guest complaints, reservation and room assignment activities.Provide feedback to the other shifts and supervisor/manager.Such other appropriate duties as may be required.RequirementsPre-Employment Requirements: Reference check, criminal background check.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Some accounting experience required.Consistent employment history.Technical Skills:Knowledge of Word and Excel required.Familiarity with multi-line phone system, copier, fax, and scanner.Knowledge of Springer Miller software preferable, but not required. Performance Skills:People pleasing attitude.Team player.Good communication skills.Ability to solve problems and handle guest complaints.Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
