Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an armed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge procedures. You will respond to issues with clear communication and customer service while partnering with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. Carry and maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and all applicable laws and licensing requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities as required and requesting public agency support when appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to discourage unauthorized activity and identify security-related hazards or suspicious conditions. Complete timely documentation of patrols, incidents, and/or unusual activity, and communicate observations and recommendations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements: Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree. Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. Be 21+ Years of Age. Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
