Open in Google Maps.This job is also posted in Southbridge Public Schools.Job DetailsJob ID: 5603825Application Deadline: Jul 06, 2026 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time)Re-Posted: Mar 26, 2026 4:00 AM (UTC)Starting Date: Jul 6, 2026Job DescriptionSOUTHBRIDGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS21st Century Programs: Site Coordinator Southbridge Middle SchoolReports To: 21st CCLC Co-DirectorsDates of Employment: July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026 2 days of PD before programming TBDHours: Monday - Thursday7:30am - 3:00pm, must wait for the bus to clearRequirements/Qualifications:Certified Teacher in the Southbridge Public Schools or a teacher in the current 21st Century ProgramInstructional experience at the School Site preferredKnowledge of Project Based Learning implementation preferredAttend mandatory training in June before programming.Duties/Responsibilities:Engage with all students through closing circle, SEL and team building activities throughout programming.Provide instruction to students in the 21st Century program incorporating curricula and objectives consistent with DESE requirements for programming.Maintain daily attendance and record keeping.Plan lessons/activities as required and/or necessary.Create lessons and provide instruction that supports and incorporates 21st Century Academic Outcomes in ELA and SEL outcomes in Communication, Self-Regulation and Relations to Peers.Collaborate with EAs to implement lessons and activities that support SEL outcomes in relation to Communication, Self-Regulation and Relations to Peers.Provide students opportunities to interact socially with other students in a variety of academic and enrichment programs.Assess and evaluate student achievement via pre/post testing and performance- based assessments aligned with the Survey of After-School Youth Outcomes (SAYO); assist students with SAYO testing on computers.Report on student progress to Site Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, District Coordinator and families when appropriateAssist in the completion of DOE assessment reports.Perform such other tasks as related to the goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Program.Support and implement the PBIS System throughout programming.Collaborate with EAs and Community Partners to ensure that behavior is managed according to the PBIS SEL approach.Uses universal health precautions for preventing illness and infections (including COVID19 protocols) and proper body mechanics for interacting with students and moving heavy objects.Salary: $50/hrEqual Opportunity EmployerSouthbridge Public Schools is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, gender identity, disability, religion, age, or sexual orientation.Position Type: Part-TimeSalary: $50 to $50 Per HourJob Categories: Athletics & Activities > After School ProgramsJob RequirementsCitizenship, residency or work visa requiredContact InformationHuman Resources132 Torrey RoadSouthbridge, Massachusetts 01550Phone: 774-318-1516Email: southbridgehr@southbridgepublic.orgJ-18808-Ljbffr
