You'll devise strategies and conduct both confirmation and validation testing of next-generation reactor systems. This is a contractor position with an hourly pay rate, requiring onsite work at our Wilmington location.ResponsibilitiesCreate, schedule, and perform engineered tests of new technology solutions to meet customer, design, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate effectively with experts within the team and in adjacent workgroups.Demonstrate excellent technical problem-solving skills and drive logical conclusions.Proactively communicate and deliver assignments on time.Identify, document, and lead resolution of technical risks within projects.Prepare and present technical data to co-workers and customers.Work closely with technicians to assemble fixtures and equipment, prepare the test facility, and conduct unique testing.Develop manual or automated production test procedures to ensure product reliability and functionality.Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities.Occasionally travel domestically and internationally to support customer/supplier meetings.RequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.Minimum of 5 years of testing experience on complex electrical or electro-mechanical systems and structures.Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Programming.Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).PreferencesSelf-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and able to multi-task.Eager to learn and expand skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong experience with methods and approaches for testing new designs.Strong working knowledge of measurement devices and calibration processes.Experience in diagnostic troubleshooting of both analog and digital electronics.Hands-on experience with measurement instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.Programming experience and strong knowledge of C, Python, LabView, or LabWindows.Experience using automated test systems and writing automated test programs.Competency in FPGA.Experience writing technical documents.If you're ready to make an impact and be part of a forward-thinking team, apply now!
