Job Title: Hospitalist Physician (MD/DO)Location: Southeastern VermontPosition Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $300,000 $350,000 annually Position Overview A not-for-profit community hospital in southeastern Vermont is seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join its established inpatient team. This role provides the opportunity to practice comprehensive hospital medicine in a collaborative, rural healthcare setting serving a multi-state population. Responsibilities Provide inpatient care including admissions, daily rounding, and dischargesEvaluate and manage acute and chronic medical conditionsRespond to codes and rapid response situationsProvide ventilator managementCoordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, respiratory therapy, emergency medicine providers, and ancillary servicesOrder and interpret diagnostic studies and imagingDocument all patient encounters in the EMRParticipate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality initiativesSupport safe and effective care transitionsNo procedures are required. Specialty support is available for central lines and other procedural needs.
