Job Description & RequirementsInterim Manager Transfusion ServiceStartDate: ASAPInterim Manager Transfusion Service Needed in Oregon Healthcare SystemThe PositionAn Interim Manager of Transfusion Service is needed to lead and manage the clinical operations of the Transfusion Service Line.This role will report directly to the Administrative Department Director and will oversee approximately fifty FTEs.The Interim Manager will be responsible for managing staffing challenges, supporting the department through software upgrades scheduled for November, and ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines.The ideal leader will have extensive leadership experience in transfusion and blood bank services.Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, chemical, physical, or biological science, business management, or a related field required.Certification as MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP), or an equivalent certification is required.
