Industrial Maintenance Technician (45050)

The role of a Plant Maintenance technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities.The main missions of the role are to:Install, repair and maintain all equipmentMaintain Facilities equipment as requiredAnalyse mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections to maintain maximum production and qualityPropose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and processes for efficiencyKeep up to date documentation related to maintenance / completion of PM'sContinuously improving knowledge baseMaintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policyAdheres to all work rules and proceduresAdheres to the Code of EthicsAdheres to the Code of ManagementAdditional reponsibilities include:Actively particpate in work teamsImplement at least six improvement idea per monthOther duties as requestedJob Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:Technical dipolima and/or journey man card or 5 years minimum experienceAdjustment of robot programs as required / Training providedPerform tasks of substantial variety/complexityStrong Electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skill setHydraulic and Pneumatic troubelshooting requiredWorking knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental systemsStrong technical problem solving skillsStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsSatisfactory company work record, including attendanceSuccessful completion of Faurecia's in-house training programsAbility to follow instruction verbal and written - good math, language and reading skills requiredGood communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levelsForklift/Sissor/Boom cerfication – successful completion of Franklin certification trainingsDemonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive mannerValid drivers' licensePhysical Requirements:Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally to move objectsRequires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bendingHigh mental and visual effort requiredAble and willing to work overtime as required.
