Junior Systems Aide - Level 1 Tech Support

Job ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.Support user account setup, password resets, and access requests.Monitor system performance and report issues to senior technical personnel.Maintain accurate records of service requests, equipment inventory, and system documentation.Assist in troubleshooting operating system and application-related problems.Support data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks related to IT operations.Coordinate with vendors or internal departments for issue resolution when required.Follow organizational security policies and procedures.Perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and common business systems.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Preferred SkillsExperience providing technical support in a professional environment.Knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.Familiarity with help desk or ticketing systems.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
