This is an entry-to-early-career opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with data, coordinating transportation, and improving logistics processes.If you have experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain-and you're looking to build hands-on experience in LTL, FTL, and SAP -this role offers long-term stability and career growth.What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'll support transportation planning and performance across multiple shipment types while partnering closely with internal operations teams.Key responsibilities include: Coordinating daily LTL and full truckload shipmentsSelecting and scheduling carriers based on routing and service needsAnalyzing transportation options to recommend cost-effective solutionsSupporting freight analysis and transportation decision-makingAuditing freight invoices for accuracy and contract complianceInvestigating shipment delays, service issues, and discrepanciesTracking and publishing monthly transportation KPIsMaintaining vendor and carrier records (current and historical)Assisting with carrier claims and issue resolutionIdentifying process improvement opportunities through data analysisCollaborating with internal teams to support logistics executionWhat We're Looking ForThis role is well-suited for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate Excel skills (pivot tables required; VLOOKUP preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to follow established processes and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated with a results-driven mindsetPreferred Qualifications Experience with routing or transportation softwareERP or Transportation Management System experience (SAP a plus; training provided)Background in logistics, transportation, dispatch, brokerage, warehousing, or supply chain operationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred1-2+ years of logistics or transportation experienceOpen to recent graduates with strong Excel skills and a demonstrated interest in supply chain or logisticsAdditional Details Industry experience in chemical manufacturing, trucking, or carrier environments is a plusThis role reports to a hands-on leader and requires a high level of independenceOpportunity to gain SAP exposure and grow within a logistics organizationWork Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to operational environmentsPPE may be required when visiting operational areasAbility to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionallyUp to 5% travel may be requiredPay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hourSearch managed by: Laarnie ThompsonBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
