Prepares directly or with consultants, planning and architectural design for new plans and models that meet the business objectives and visions of the executive leadership team for the various Master Planned Robson Communities. Works regularly with executive staff in a variety of meeting formats, including new product design meetings to conceptualize the ideas and concepts discussed into a product design that meets the expectations of the team. Will perform other job duties as assigned. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Consultant for new designs through design development and construction documents. Will work with other senior leadership members to give suggestions/offer advice on development of new or revamped products at each community. Will present new product suggestions. Develop and design plan and elevation concepts using applicable software programming. Select color schemes and coordinate landscape design for new modelsReview and tour new product design and competitors product design to ensure new designs are competitive and responding to current market expectations Coordinate with legal team for new consultant contracts and job orders, review and authorize payment for invoices from consultantsLead framing reviews for new models and plans with executive team. Feedback is received and adjustments made, if necessary/applicable. Review Marketing Collateral floor plans and rendering for accuracy to design. Will work with the Senior VP of Marketing on edits/revisions necessary, give feedback/suggestions.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPUTER/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 10+ years of architectural experience in residential home designs. Bachelor or Masters in ArchitectureMust be able to create and establish a vision for new projects with an ability to convey that vision to project staff. Comprehensive knowledge of: building codes and systems, construction and construction technology, architectural and engineering proposals.
