Job Description Description:Kunes Auto Group, one of the fastest growing dealerships in the Midwest is seeking a Body Shop Tech to join our Hastings, MN Body Shop.Position SummaryThe Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs, ensuring vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition with precision, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced repair environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMust supply and maintain a complete set of personal automotive tools required to perform job dutiesDemonstrated experience with buffing, polishing, and paint correction techniquesAbility to properly prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding and bringing surfaces to primer stageSkilled in reassembling vehicles accurately and efficiently following paint workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company standardsPerform thorough final washes and detailing to ensure vehicles are delivery-readyStrong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced shop environmentExperience1-5+ years of collision repair experience requiredKnowledge of modern vehicle construction, repair techniques, and safety standards.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Compensation:$20.00 - $25.00 straight hourly based on experienceWhy Join Kunes Auto Group?Kunes Auto Group is an award-winning, faith-based automotive dealership group with 40+ locations throughout the Midwest.
