The Threat Intel Analyst will examine and monitor cybersecurity threats, assess potential threats using security tools, and develop mitigation plans for risk management.Responsibilities:• Provides technical knowledge of examining and monitoring cybersecurity threats.• Ability to assess and recognize potential threats by effectively using security tools and investigative technical skills.• Responsible for gathering raw data and developing assessment reports.• Identify emerging trends and recommend approaches to prevent cyber threats.• Prioritizing threats by severity and developing mitigation plans.• Apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management-related program.Qualifications:Required:• Security-cleared Professional: You are able to obtain and maintain a government issued public trust clearance.• A Bachelor's Degree or an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred with 7-10 years of experience.• Experience analyzing security standards and guidelines.• Has experience with threat monitoring and data protection.• Has experience handling security events and reporting.• Has supported risk management and developed improvement plans.• Familiar with network protocols, firewalls, disaster recovery and security best practices.• Has worked with security tools such as Splunk, Tenable, Cyberark, or similar.• Either a Security + CE, CASP, CISSP, GCIA, CISM, CISA or another certification that is the equivalent.Company:Trust must be earned through consistent performance.
