Warehouse Delivery Driver

DescriptionWarehouse / Delivery DriverDepartment: WarehouseReports To: Warehouse Supervisor/ManagerPosition OverviewThe Warehouse/Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and safely delivering HVAC and roofing materials to customer locations and branch facilities throughout the Tri-State area. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced distribution environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesWarehouse ResponsibilitiesAccurately pull, stage, and verify customer orders for pickup and deliveryAssist customers and vendors with loading and unloading materialsReceive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory and special-order shipmentsPrepare and stage materials for next-day deliveriesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentComplete required shipping and receiving documentation, including obtaining signaturesProcess return materials in accordance with company warranty proceduresOperate warehouse equipment including forklift (tow motor), pallet jacks, hand trucks, and laddersAttend company-sponsored product and safety trainingFollow all company safety policies and proceduresDelivery Driver ResponsibilitiesSafely transport HVAC and roofing materials to customer shops, job sites, and branch locationsOperate DOT-regulated and non-CDL 16' and 26' automatic box trucksPerform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsVerify materials against delivery paperwork prior to departure and upon deliveryEnsure loads are properly secured for safe transitAssist customers with unloading materials at delivery locationsObtain customer signatures and complete required delivery documentationComply with all DOT regulations and traffic lawsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Order pulling and delivery accuracyOn-time and complete deliveriesSafe vehicle and equipment operationPositive and professional customer interactionsWarehouse organization and cleanlinessReliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as neededQualificationsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to operate DOT-regulated and non-CDL box trucksForklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)Prior warehouse, delivery, or building materials experience preferredAbility to lift 50-75 lbs regularlyAbility to work in varying warehouse and outdoor job site conditionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyDependable with a strong work ethic
