Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician with LA General Medical Center
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Los Angeles General Medical Center seeks a skilled and dynamic Board Certified/Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team.
We are seeking a full time MFM physician to provide full scope care in the safety-net hospital setting. We offer an academic appointment with the University of Southern California Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology and MFM, fellowship trained in MFM, California licensed (or license eligible) and must exhibit a passion for clinical excellence and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Salary is commensurate with years of experience.

What You'll Do
Perform outpatient ultrasounds, perinatal consultations and targeted diagnostic procedures
Provide inpatient antepartum service coverage and consultation
Perform vaginal, operative vaginal, and cesarean deliveries
Supervise trainees and participate in teaching
Collaborate with nursing, midwifery, anesthesia, and NICU teams
Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Take one L&D call per month and provide MFM backup coverage from home divided amongst 4 MFM faculty members
What We’re Looking For
MD/DO; Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Active state medical license (or eligibility)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Experience in high-acuity setting and interest in the full scope of obstetric care
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered, equitable care
