Candidates with previous experience on Agile teams especially within Government agencies will be well suited for this position.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with developers, professional services team and product managers to define the automated testing components that will be used to validate requirements against developed softwareWork with team members in adopting and learning test automation techniquesAssist with Scrum Team estimation of stories and sizing of effort to include the representation of the test automation and engagement with Continuous Integration (CI) requiredContributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations' Agile project life cycleExecute automated testing on both Web Front end and back end systemsRun test validations at various levels including DB validation, rules validation, logging validation, and UI validationQualificationsMinimum skills and qualifications:Candidate must have minimum 1 year of hands on automated test coding experienceCandidate must be a team player and work closely with other automation developers to build/support Automation FrameworkCandidate should have experience on automation results analysis and generate automation result reportsCandidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quicklyPrevious experience with automation tools such as JUnit, SOAPUI, Selenium (WebDriver)Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing Agile environmentMust have knowledge and understand fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD), Automated Testing (GUI and backend), User Acceptance TestingStrong written and communication skillsProfessional consulting experience and background beneficialProven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation experienceMust be a team player and have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust be flexible in working with team members at all levels of experiencePreferred skills and qualifications:Key technology experience in areas such as Java and/or C#, J2EE, XML, and SOA, REST, JSON, SiebelKnowledge of Continuous Integration tools (Open Source or commercially available such as Bamboo or Jenkins)Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques that are commercially available or that are Open Source (examples: HP's QTP, JUnit, Selenium-WebDriver, Geb, Cucumber, and Spock)Experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases
