This role works closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance (QA), and Logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy, timely material flow, and adherence to Cryoport's operational and quality standards.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)Maintain inventory in all storage locations in a clean, organized, and orderly mannerEnsure each inventory location is clearly labeled with legible bin location and part number tagsCreate new bin location and part number tags and assign storage space as requiredPerform weekly cycle counts and report results to the Procurement TeamPerform monthly physical inventory counts, as required, and report results to the Procurement TeamCollaborate with the Procurement Team to manage desired inventory levels, proactively communicating shortages or overstock situations to optimize space utilization and stocking strategiesPull, package, and ship inventory transfers to other Cryoport locations as requestedStock shipping stations as required to support daily operationsComplete all required inventory system transactions when transferring inventory or stocking shipping stations to ensure accurate inventory records in NetSuiteCreate Inventory Receipts (IR numbers) in NetSuite for materials and services received or completed at the facilityTransfer inventory from receiving to inspection locations, ensuring both system transactions and physical placement are accurateMonitor inspection locations and coordinate with QA to prioritize inspection requestsMonitor inspection locations and coordinate with QA to prioritize inspection requestsTransfer inventory that has passed inspection to the appropriate storage locations, completing both system transactions and physical movesCoordinate with Procurement and QA to facilitate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for materials that fail inspectionEnsure rejected materials are returned to the appropriate origin once the RMA process is completedCommunicate with peers at other Logistics Centers or Global Supply Chain Centers to ensure transfers are received, properly inventoried, and put awayCommunicate with the Procurement Team regarding incoming materials to ensure supplier performance meets Cryoport's expectationsSupport work orders for assembly parts, including issuing and receiving transactionsPerform the duties of a Logistics Center Technician as needed to support operational requirementsCOMPETENCIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESSolid communication and organizational skillsExceptional attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to prioritizeSolid data entry skills in Excel and ERP systemsPassion for, and alignment with, Cryoport's missionA change agent and strong collaborator who is not afraid of challenging status quoAn individual who brings strong core values, quality, ethics, and integrityA collaborative team player who embraces and champions the cultureStrong work ethic and ability to deliver results and meet commitments in a dynamic environmentExceptional and dynamic communications skills with the ability to inspire and influence people at all levels, build consensus and commitment, and effectively drive change throughout the organization at a rate that fits the corporate cultureExceptional organizational and planning skills, strong analytical abilities, and process orientationDemonstrates a business process orientation to developing solutionsAbility to drive a forklift and other warehouse equipmentSome lifting may be required (up to 80 pounds)QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years experience in inventory controlExperience in NetSuite or similar inventory systemsSolid experience using MS Excel, Word and OutlookExcellent math skillsCompensation:Up to $25/hr depending on experience + benefits + 401k + stock
