Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Compensation $350-425k plus 50%+ bonus & considerable equity Residential Services Platform | Private Equity-Backed Location: Flexible / Preference of being based in Eastern or Central timezone About the Opportunity Bell & Associates, Inc. is partnering with a private equity-backed residential services platform at an exciting inflection point in its growth journey. The company has established a strong foundation with approximately $40M in revenue and is positioned to scale aggressively through a combination of organic growth, operational excellence, and strategic acquisitions. The investment thesis is centered around transformational growth through M&A, integration, and professionalization of the platform. The incoming CEO will play a critical role in building a scalable organization capable of exceeding $150M+ in revenue while driving operational rigor, cultural alignment, and value creation across the enterprise. This is an opportunity for a proven leader to build a market-leading platform in a highly fragmented industry alongside an engaged and growth-oriented private equity sponsor. Position Overview The CEO will be responsible for leading the overall strategic, operational, and financial performance of the company. This executive will partner closely with the Board and private equity sponsor to execute the company’s growth strategy, with a particular emphasis on acquisition sourcing support, integration execution, operational scaling, and leadership development. The ideal candidate is a commercially‑minded operator who has successfully led a residential services or route‑based services business in a private equity‑backed environment and has firsthand experience scaling a platform through acquisition and integration activity. This leader must be equally comfortable driving growth externally while building the internal infrastructure, talent, and processes necessary to support rapid scale. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Value Creation Lead the execution of the company’s strategic growth plan with accountability for revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and enterprise value creation. Partner with the Board and private equity sponsor on long‑term strategy, capital allocation, and market expansion initiatives. Build and maintain a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and continuous improvement. M&A Execution & Integration Support acquisition strategy through active participation in target evaluation, due diligence, and integration planning. Lead post‑acquisition integration efforts across people, systems, operations, customer experience, and reporting infrastructure. Drive realization of synergies while preserving local market strengths and customer relationships. Build scalable integration playbooks and operational standards to support continued acquisition activity. Operational Leadership Scale operational capabilities, systems, and leadership infrastructure to support multi‑site growth. Drive operational efficiency, service quality, customer retention, and workforce productivity across the platform. Establish KPI‑driven management processes and reporting disciplines to improve visibility and execution. Team & Culture Development Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing leadership talent across operations, finance, sales, and field leadership. Foster alignment and cultural integration across acquired businesses. Build an organization capable of supporting significant geographic and operational scale. Financial & Board Accountability Deliver against financial objectives including revenue growth, EBITDA performance, cash flow management, and working capital optimization. Maintain strong forecasting, reporting, and communication with the Board and private equity sponsor. Ensure organizational readiness for future liquidity events or recapitalization opportunities. Candidate Profile Required Experience Proven executive leadership experience within the residential services industry, including sectors such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, roofing, pest control, landscaping, or other field-service-based businesses. Prior experience leading or helping scale a private equity‑backed platform company. Demonstrated success growing a business through M&A and post‑acquisition integration. Experience scaling organizations from lower‑middle‑market size through significant revenue expansion. Strong operational leadership background with the ability to professionalize infrastructure while maintaining entrepreneurial agility. Experience leading multi‑location or geographically dispersed operations. Preferred Qualifications Prior CEO, President, or Division President experience within a PE‑backed environment. Track record of successfully integrating multiple acquisitions within a compressed timeline. Experience leading organizations through a successful exit, recapitalization, or secondary transaction. Strong financial acumen and experience working closely with investors and Boards. Leadership Characteristics Growth‑oriented operator with strong commercial instincts.
