Millwright Mechanic
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems. The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and reliability of equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment.
Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance and repair tasks.
Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely to access machinery.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with team members and other departments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
Proficient in hydraulics and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
